Adult Intro to Acting

This is for fun! For the adult that has always nursed a dream, or wants to pick up where you left off or if you just want to try something new, this class is an opportunity to explore the adventure that is acting in a supportive, creative environment.

We'll do some scene study and ensemble exercises, and dive into short plays. At the end of the session, we'll do a mini-performance of the short plays!

Tuesdays 6:30-8:30

Young Performers Lab

4th & 5th Grade

An energetic introduction to theater through imagination, storytelling, and play. This class gives young performers the opportunity to explore creativity while building confidence, communication skills and a love of performance.

Students will develop:

Stage confidence and self expression
Listening and teamwork skills
Creative storytelling through movement, voice, and character work
The basics of performance and collaboration

The session culminates in a short scene presentation for families.

Cashman Elementary

Middle School Theater Ensemble

A foundational theater class designed to help young actors build confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills. Through ensemble work, improvisation, and scene study, students will develop the tools needed to become thoughtful and expressive performers.

Students will explore:

Theater games and improvisation
Voice and movement techniques
Character development
Listening, relationships, and power dynamics within scenes
The fundamentals of working as an ensemble

The session culminates in the presentation of short plays for family and friends

Teen On-Camera Class

Designed for aspiring actors and students curious about the world of film and television, this class introduces the skills and techniques needed to create authentic, confident on-camera performances. Students will learn how to approach auditions, build on-screen characters, and understand the unique demands of acting for the camera.

Students will work with:

TV, film, and commercial audition sides
Character development and understanding actor “type”
Basic industry terminology and marketing materials
Self-tape technique using phones and provided equipment

Each student will have filmed scenes they can use as a performance sample.
