One in the Chamber
Danielle, a Boston native, spent a decade in New York working as an actor, writer, and producer.
As the co-founder of The Poet Acts, Inc., a not-for-profit film & theater company, she curated Ionesco & the Anti-play for the Young Patrons of Lincoln Center, produced and performed in the award-winning short film Darling Can You Answer the Door, along with several short films, and many theatrical showcases. There she also produced the sold-out play Maybe Tomorrow for the New York Fringe Festival (New York Times Pick, Critics Pick "Overall Excellence in a Play," Selected for Fringe Encore Series).
As an actor, she’s performed in theater (Abington Theatre, Urban Stages & The Actors Studio) and television (NBC & MTV2), as well as several independent films. In 2016, she was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Play for her role in One in the Chamber, which was produced in collaboration with Forum Theater in DC.
She holds a degree in English/Writing and Theater Arts from Umass Lowell.
These days she's on the north shore, juggling her creative work while wrangling three small children who run around calling her "mom."
